‘The Hell House’ is Back Open for New Owners

Ok, this has nothing to do with the original Hell House, but none-the-less it’s a cool f’n title for a movie. B-D was informed today of a new Hell House movie, which is about to begin production. One Lost Productions tells us that the film can be described as ‘Saw’ meets ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. The film is a throwback to the 1970’s/80’s slasher/survival films with a few modern twists and turns including a terrifying new take on the “man in the mask” of yesteryear, and a touch of vouyerism. Sounds cool doesn’t it? Read on for more…
September 29th, 2005 – Once Lost Productions announce the feature horror film THE HELL HOUSE, as well as the launch of the films official site.

The film is written and Directed by new comer to the genre Brennan S. Freemantle. Freemantle [who is also co-producing the film] has set a tenative date to begin lensing the feature of Fall 2006.

Though the team at Once Lost has yet to recieve full funding for thier film, that has not stopped them from forging ahead into pre-production on the project, dealing with every bump and stop they encounter along the way as best they can for the moment. The goal is: through the website, a dedicated team, and word of mouth, to complete funding for the project, and move into production by the hopeful tenative start date. But no matter what, the team Freemantle has put together has NO intentions of stopping until THE HELL HOUSE is in the can.

Some cast announcements will begin being made soon via the films web site.
