Classic Horror: The Prowler and Quatermass and the Pit

Today we’ve added Don Krouskop’s classic horror review of Joseph Zito’s 1981 horror pic The Prowler, which is available on DVD from Blue Underground. In the film a masked killer, wearing World War II U.S. Army fatigues, stalks a small New Jersey town bent on reliving a 35-year-old double murder by focusing on a group of college kids holding an annual Spring Dance. Also added is Thomas M. Wagner’s review for the Hammer Collection’s 1967 film Quatermass and the Pit. In the film an ancient Martian spaceship is unearthed in London, and proves to have powerful psychic effects on the people around. Visit Wagner’s website for his book reviews.
