‘Tromeo & Juliet: 10th Anniversary Edition’ DVD Specs

Troma Entertainment celebrates The Bard’s 400th birthday with Tromeo & Juliet: 10th Anniversary Edition, Davis DVD. Streeting on August 8th, this new two-disc set will include a fullscreen transfer and Dolby Digital Stereo tracks, along with enough extras to choke a horse. Look for four separate commentary tracks (Director Lloyd Kaufman and Screenwriter James Gunn; Editors Frank Reynolds and Gabriel Friedman; a previously excluded commentary from 1997 with James Gunn and Sean Gunn; Kauffman’s original 1997 commentary), deleted scenes, “Wherefore Art Thou Now?” featurette on what the surviving characters are up to ten years later, new interviews with the cast and crew, never-before-seen rehearsal footage with Jane Jenson and Debbie Rochon, fan re-enactments of their favorite scenes and more. The first 1500 sets will also be signed and numbered by Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman. Retail is $24.99.
