Two Lionsgate Reviews: ‘The Nun’ and ‘Swarmed’

There was a lot of hype surrounding Filmax’s The Nun, but after Lionsgate dumped it on video it alll went bye bye, So What did Tex think of the film? “The editing is brisk, and the film never drags, in fact, the pacing could have been slowed a bit in the third act as the film suddenly seems like it is running full steam ahead to the unfortunately ridiculous ending.” Click the title for the review. Also added is a review for Lionsgate’s Swarmed, which is also now available in DVD. Tex writes, “You know the old saying – in the end all that will be left are cockroaches and bad made for TV movies. Well my friends those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and everybody knows Studio brass has zero concept of propriety.” In the film the residents of a small town find themselves battling a swarm of wasps which has been sprayed by a super pesticide.
