Wow. Back when it was announced that Disney had acquired Marvel Comics a lot of people were speculating that the merger would result in a change of the companies content towards a broader (AKA younger) audience, but since then it has been anything but. In fact, with the addition of more violence, more adult content, homosexuality, and now sending the “X-MEN” to hell, I’d have to say that things have gone in the opposite direction. Inside you can read the first 7 pages of the next issue in “HELLBOUND” before it drops on June 9th. Read on for the skinny.
“It’s the X-Men vs. Death — literally! With Bastion and his forces cutting through their teammates back on Earth, Cannonball and his team of X-Men know that they need to complete their mission and get back to the front fast. But that’s easier said than done; a trip to Hell never quite goes as planned. With Magik still nowhere in sight, the X-Men’s mission to retrieve her only becomes more complicated when one of their own is corrupted by Limbo’s influence.”
