Of course we were curious, why would Samuel agree to do a movie like ‘Snakes’? So we asked him if it was what he thought it was going to be, he replied, “It was what I thought it was… a movie I used to leave home on a Saturday afternoon and go and see so I could scream really loud and yell and freak my friends out… it’s all about a Saturday afternoon excitement film.

A little later into the interview he talked about people criticizing him for his decisions and then explained that “It’s a real shame that a lot of people cant remember when they were kids and went to the movies… to watch Frankenstein chase people or the Wolf Man chase people or big spiders jump out of stuff… it’s a Saturday movie – I feel bad for people questioning my integrity for doing this [film].
