You Too Can Now Have the ‘Cure’

Fangoria writes that The Cure, an amazing film by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (The Pulse), is headed to DVD in the states thanks to a DVD company called Home Vision Entertainment. “A festival favorite and award-winner that first brought Kurosawa to the attention of international genre fans, the movie is about a series of gruesome murders committed by different, unconnected people who have no memory of committing the crimes. Investigating the carnage, a detective discovers that a strange young man arrested at the scene of one of the slayings may be connected to all of them. The disc, which streets January 6, 2004, will include a 20-minute interview with the director taped at this past year’s Toronto Film Festival. Home Vision is also currently negotiating for the rights to SEANCE, Kurosawa’s spooky update of the classic SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON.”
