Picturehouse’s ‘Amusement’ Shoots in Budapest, Hungary

In the Picturehouse horror thriller Amusement, a disturbing childhood incident links the fate of three women terrorized by diabolical, elaborately planned ordeals. Directed by John Simpson (Freeze Frame) from a screenplay from Jake Wade Wall (When A Stranger Calls, The Hitcher), the film is produced by Mike Macari and Neal Edelstein (The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive), who together produced “The Ring” and “The Ring 2” for DreamWorks. An exploration of the worst-case fears of three fate-crossed women, Amusement stars Keir O’Donnell (Wedding Crashers), Kathryn Winnick (Failure to Launch), Laura Breckinridge (Related), Jessica Lucas (The Covenant) and Tad Hilgenbrick (American Pie Presents Band Camp). The film is shooting on location in Budapest, Hungary until January 25th.
