Nicolas Cage Seeking Pod To Transform Into ‘The Fly’?!
First he kicked some cult chicks asses in Wicker Man, then he transformed into Ghost Rider, now Nicolas Cage is vying for the part of The Fly in a planned remake of David Cronenberg’s 1986 cult classic, according to the director himself. Cronenberg, who is working on an operatic version of the creepy man-insect story, will not be involved in the remake, but he has been kept abreast of developments. He tells E! “From what I hear, Nic Cage wants the part.” Thanks to PR-Inside for the news!
