Duo Hired to Join ‘The Lost Squad’ Adaptation

Stephen St. Leger and James Mather have found their way to The Lost Squad (pictured inside), coming on board to write and direct the project for Rogue Pictures, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter are producing. “Squad” is based on a Devil’s Due comic written by Chris Kirby and drawn by Alan Robinson. The miniseries revolved around the supernatural action-adventures of a squad of U.S. soldiers who take on weird missions during World War II, fighting Adolf Hitler’s occult agents and other threats. The pair are riding into Hollywood on buzz created by “Prey Alone,” a high-octane 15-minute short they made digitally using actors and some hand props. It is that technique, similar to the fashion of how “300″ was made, that they plan to use in making “Squad.”
