Korean Horror ‘G.P. 506’ Get Delayed, Loses Financing

Production of South Korean horror film G.P. 506 has been suspended with 70% of shooting complete as the filmmakers search for a new production company, accordingt o Variety. The pic is directed by Kong Su-chang, whose debut feature “R-Point” was a solid hit in 2004. However, a management battle and lawsuit at stock market-listed production house Motis has paralyzed funds and ground production to a halt. A representative from Motis says that talks are under way with several other production companies that have shown an interest in taking over the troubled project. “G.P. 506” centers around a baffling string of deaths on the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea.
