I love the fact that the story continues because it’s something that, before we did the second or third movie, we would talk about what would have gone on. It’s been so fun to see something develop over the years and get more and more complicated, with subtext and sub plot.” She continues, “Each film is SO different, because we have different directors on each one… this film especially. The first was so dark and claustrophobic, the second was much bigger scope with the city and at night trying to escape the city, with this one its really like the end of the world… with a completely different look and feeling.

Co-star Ali Larter then spoke about being being in so many horror films, “There’s something about these movies that people just enjoy, I feel like in the beginning of my career I took things too seriously,” she tells B-D, “in truth there’s such an amazing feeling about being in a movie that people love to watch. That what this is, it’s just indulgent and it’s just FUN. In my life I think I will always try to be seeking this form of balance.

Then Larter joked about getting scared and how she hates it, “I hate being scared, when I was younger and my sisters friends hid in the laundry room and scared me. It’s an emotion and I don’t like that lack of control! But now I think I wouldn’t't mind doing it in the theater, and think it would be fun to go and experience that rush… now that I’m not worried about someone crawling into my house and murdering me at night,” she jokes, “I have my dog and my boyfriend to protect me.

Later Sony held their panel, which featured RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION. Because of HEROES the crowd was going insane at just about everything Larter had to say. After they showed a very disgusting and interesting clip from the movie, which featured a pit full of dead Alice clones… hundreds of them! Then they showed the nasty zombie crow attack from the trailer.

RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION hits theaters September 21.
