Loads of Images From Summit's 'Twilight'

We've been told time and time again that Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight isn't for the hardcore horror fan, but it does have werewolves and vampires (so long as it's not a reincarnation of BLOOD & CHOCOLATE), so we're going to cover it until it hits theaters December 12 from Summit Entertainment. Today a new batch of stills hit the web and can be viewed inside. The film is about a high school girl named Bella falls in love with a vampire. The new couple leads a rival vampire clan to pursue them and attempt to force her to decide if she, too, wishes to become one of the undead.

THANK YOU! :D The story is NOT for the hardcore horror fan, this is a love story with werewolves and vampires. But we don't find out much about the werewolves until the second and third book. The books are really awesome, and I hope the movie is just as good. Thank you a lot for covering this, because I'm a real fan of the books and I know that I'll be able to find information about the movie here. (: About this being the next BLOOD AND CHOCOLATE, well I can't really comment on that because I've never read the book or seen the movie...

Well if it helps, in the fight scenes there is shredding, crunching, cracking, burning, etc. In the second book a whole room of people get eaten, and in the third boook, heads and limbs go flying. If they portray the fight scenes well, the horror fans should be satisfied. Oh and of course in the first book, there's that too. The Cullens don't eat / drink blood of humans, but they like a good fight and are ready to kick ass and kill (and they weren't always vegetarian...heh ;-).. let's leave it at that.). Btw, there's more, but you'kk just have to read or see.

Thankfully there's finally some definition about this one. If everyone kept talking about like it was gonna be a stright up horror I was gonna have to keep ragging on it, calling it Dawson's Creek with fangs.

Let me guess, they are going for a PG-13. Thank god for movies like "Inside" and "Frontier(s)"!!!

I'm slightly confused. Is he a vampire or a werewolf? Because it's very bright there and obviously it's daytime, so...?

This is probably going to be PG-13 because the books are TEEN, so yeah. Oh, and the main girl, Bella, she falls in love with a vampire. He is a different kind of vampire, he DOESN'T have FANGS, and he DOESN'T kill HUMANS. They are "vegan vampires" as it was said here before, they get their blood from animals. And the sun DOES NOT HURT them. It just makes them be really shiny, besides, the town they live in is always very cloudy, so no suspicion will be drawn towards them. Whenever the sun is out, the vampires don't go outside. And about the werewolves... it's a different story. There is a whole group of werewolves, but I'm not gunna say anything else or it will deffinately spoil some shit from the books.
