[BD Review] ‘Oculus’ Is A Fresh, Unrelentingly Terrifying Supernatural Horror Film!

  • horrorking95

Sounds great! I look forward to this.

Just got back from seeing it, total horse shit. Absolutely fucking terrible. Man I don’t know who is paying BD to give these shitty films such high praise and hype, but God bless’em….

This movie was surprisingly good. If you liked Insidious 2 then you should check it out. A lot of people complain about the ending while I will not spoil it, I will say you cannot always have a happy ending in a horror movie. Id rather have a good unhappy ending then a corny happy one.

This was the absolute most over hyped movie since Devil’s Due. Straight snooze fest.

      I loved this Movie.
Its one of my favorite horror Movies ever.

What did you like about this movie? In the pantheon of all time horror classics, of which this review clearly tries to place it, what was scary about this movie?

    • Curmudgeon

Dull, is the correct word for describing the movie. Although I got two very big laughs from it.

  • Daniel Alderson

I disagree. I did really like this film, but it wasn’t in the least terrifying. It entertained me in the same way Cabin In The Woods did. It’s a great story, and I loved the first two acts (acting and character are superb, and they really set up the notion that what’s unfolding could be supernatural or just the construct of damaged minds), but the final act was confusing and repetitive, with an ok pay-off. But not remotely unnerving.

I think this Movie felt really scary.
That mirror is one of the most terrifying things i have seen in anything horror for a while now.

LMFAO. This should get MAYBE one star. Boring, boring and boring again.
