I watched this because everybody made such a big deal about the ending and the big shocking twist. Truth is, any horror fan should have seen the ending coming a mile away. Reeker is exactly the type of film The Cabin in the Woods was making fun of. All of the archetypes are their, you can spot the fool, the whore, the athlete, the virgin and the scholar from the moment they're on screen which makes for a very predictable slasher. This is a fun movie. Fede Alvarez has done an excellent job for his first big motion picture. I appreciate the natural talent this guy has for visceral cinematography, the film is beautifully shot.
