‘Zombie Spring Breakers’ Infect This Week’s Thursday Nights at The Asylum:

Thursday Nights at the Asylum continues this Thursday, November 2nd with Andy Edwards’s Zombie Spring Breakers (formerly Ibiza Undead), which stars Emily Atack, Algina Lipskis, Cara Theobold, Jordan Coulson, Homer Todiwala, Ed Kear, Marcia do Vales, and Matt King.

In the film, “Three best friends – Alex, Az, and Jim – head to Ibiza for their first lad’s holiday. Tagging along is Alex’s unimpressed ex-girlfriend Ellie, whom they quickly dump with Alex’s sister and head to San Antonio to start their week of sun, sea, and debauchery. Soon they end up in a club run by local gangster Karl, where the attractions aren’t all alive – they’re zombies! Due to Jim’s drunken antics, the zombies escape. Soon all hell breaks loose and no one on the party island is safe!

The film toured film festivals under the title Ibiza Undead.

More tripe purporting to be Zombie themed. Would be great if we had some decent additions to the genre, rather than most of the crap we’ve witnessed in the past decade – lets not mention rubbish like TWD & FTWD, or for that matter WWZ. Suffice to say, the genre is far from fully mined & offers great potential if funds were available to make a decent movie with decent effects, apart from the Korean’s most that been on offer is tripe, bad tripe at that.
