2000 AD is releasing a comic book sequel tie-in to the under-appreciated Dredd, which is now available to order as a one-shot through Diamond Distribution. Aside from being the only official comic book tie-in to the movie, this is also the first ever US-format comic book direct from 2000 AD.
“Dredd: Underbelly” comes from writer Arthur Wyatt and artist Henry Flint, and the book picks up a year after the movie with Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson investigating a gruesome mass grave.

Announced this year at SDCC, IDW will be rebooting the genetically enhanced blue solider with an all new “Rogue Trooper” series. The book finally has a creative team in novelist Brian Ruckley and artist Alberto Ponticelli (“Frankenstein Agents of SHADE”). Rogue Trooper was one of 2000 AD’s hottest characters back in the day, and now that IDW has hold of Judge Dredd, you can probably expect a crossover heading your way. READ MORE
We’ve been anticipating this for a while, but IDW offers some details on their new “Rogue Trooper” series. IDW has plans to release “Rogue Trooper” reprints as well as a brand new series in the coming year. The series takes place during a futuristic war on Nu-Earth in which Genetic Infantrymen are built as the ultimate weapon. These blue-skinned cybernetic soldiers were all slaughtered except for one who now seeks revenge on his makers. 2000 AD is bringing back Zombo with a new series from the imaginations of Al Ewing and Henry Flint. To celebrate the start of “Zombo Planet”, 2000 AD is encouraging fans to zombify themselves for the chance to win Zombo prizes.

2000 AD has a gritty new North America release on the way, written by Rob Williams, with art from Mark Harrison and Ben Oliver. The Ten Seconders: The American Dream takes place in the not too distant future when a group of super powered gods have almost completely eradicated the human race. Those left alive attempt to battle against the seemingly unstoppable force, given the name “Ten-Seconders”, based on the life expectancy of those brave enough to enter battle with them.
