Welcome to the weekly previews for August 3rd, 2011 here at Graphic Content! Let me preface this week by saying that there are A LOT of good comics coming out this week. Though every week has it’s highlights, I believe this is the best of the summer with several books by Snyder, the start of Spider Island, and the second to last Flashpoint issue! Get ready for some time indoors this week because there are way too many books for you spend you days running around outside in the sun like a loser.

The truth is everyone would read all the books if they had the time and money, but in reality most of us don’t. OMFG Of The Day: ’68′ Hits Its Stride With Issue #3, And We have Your First Look!

With so much hype over Mark Kidwell and Co.’s “’68″ monthly it was almost a certainty that the title would deliver a much needed storyline ( See: “Backbone”) to a zombie title not named “THE WALKING DEAD”. The ‘Hardship’ In Vietnam Continues In August With All New ’68 One-Shot!

Adding to the wet dream of horror talent that already makes up the “’68″ creative team, this August publisher Image Comics will be enlisting the help of illustrator Jeff Zornow (“HALLOWEEN: NIGHTDANCE”, “DAY OF THE DEAD: DESERTION”) for an all new one-shot in the series. One of the promising new zombie tales to have been announced as of late is the Mark Kidwell (“BUMP”) and Jay Fotos’ (“THE NAIL”) created “68″ which will FINALLY be making its debut this April from “THE WALKING DEAD” publisher Image.
