Update: Thanks to our wonderful readers I have discovered the game IS available in the US. You can get it HERE!
For those of you who have been around BD and more so Dead Pixels know that Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time. Well, you can download the digital PC version now from HERE for €9.99 normally €12.99. The problem for me, is that I, living in the US, cannot download the game. I’ve never been more let down. Head past the break for screens, a trailer, game info, and whatever I don’t give a crap.
Image’s seven-issue run on Severed is finally over, and I don’t think there was any doubt from the get-go that this series would be anything short of phenomenal. Snyder gets a lot, and I mean a lot, of praise for his work over at DC on Batman, and Swamp Thing, which is Cool and the Gang, but Severed is another beast entirely. Severed puts the fear back in horror comics. I don’t mean that it’s just creepy or gory; this is a downright terrifying book that fully immerses the reader into the pages and doesn’t let go, even after the final page. There are times throughout the series when you can’t help but hold your breath in anticipation. Every issue is tense as all hell, beautiful, entirely haunting, and the final issue is no exception. Read on for the skinny…
Earlier this year Converge made a few awesome announcements one including a Split release with them and Dropdead, which of course blew my mind. The release saw light on Converge‘s recent Spring tour with Trap Them with a severe variety of different colors. Curious to know my thoughts? Read past the break for my review. Enjoy!
While at this year’s BonnarooFat Mike of NOFX sat down and talked about his feelings towards events like Bonnaroo as well as NOFX‘s upcoming 7″ covering “obscure” hardcore bands including Rebel Truth and Necros. I will admit I have mixed feelings about this 7″ considering their cover of Minor Threat‘s Straight Edge is quite awful. But being the NOFX fan that I am I’m sure I’ll buy every color 7″ when it comes out in August.
Read past the break for NOFX‘s upcoming 7″ album cover as well as some live footage from their performance at Bonnaroo this year. Enjoy! READ MORE
Converge announced some awesome news yesterday that’ll pretty much lay out what you you have to look forward to from them hopefully this year. The fine people at Deathwish Inc. already laid it out perfectly.
Converge & Drop Dead Split 7″EP:
We are excited to announce that Converge will be releasing a split 7″EP with our friends in the legendary Drop Dead. The split 7″EP will be self released by both bands, and distributed to retailers/distros by Deathwish Direct and Armageddon. If all goes well, look for the release to be available at the U.S. shows mentioned.
