Fantasia ’11 [Review] ‘A Lonely Place to Die’ a Riveting Circus of a Movie!

My favorite film out of the ongoing Fantasia Film Festival was Julian Gilbey’s absolutely incredible UK thriller A Lonely Place to Die, a rule-breaking genre film starring genre veteran Melissa George (Amityville Horror, 30 Days of Night, Turistas).

This genre mash-up is a riveting circus of a movie that refuses to ever ease off the pedal. It’s so badass that Gilbey ignores the rules of cinema and risks it all to deliver a nonstop punch in the face that will have you on the edge of your seat from minute one.

Click the title above for the entire review and watch this spot regarding distribution as soon as it’s announced. We’re hearing there are some heavy negotiations going on.

They become caught up in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with the kidnappers as they try to get the girl to safety. Bloody Disgusting was tipped off to the first teaser trailer that can be viewed inside. It looks pretty awesome (once you get into it) to me!
