A psychological thriller about teenagers who encourage each other’s destructive behavior.

When jaded teens Jim, Eva, Emily and Mo meet William online, they’re seduced by his charisma. But William isn’t what he seems. He’s calculating and manipulative and doesn’t have time for people in the real world. Jim is vulnerable and he has no idea how dangerous his new friendship with William will be. When Jim confesses he’s on anti-depressants, William knows he’s found a victim. He vows to help Jim off his drugs, and the rest of the group fall in line. What begins as friendly advice to help Jim becomes twisted and Eva and Mo realise the deadly game William’s playing, but the wheels are in motion. Jim is set on a path of self- destruction, and is going to do the unthinkable. As Eva, Emily and Mo try to save Jim, William begins a terrifying game of cat and mouse chasing them across the internet, shutting down their systems, and cutting them off from his victim. Fantasy meets reality when William and Jim are face to face in rush hour on the underground. Without the faceless security of the online world, everything becomes real. It’s now a race against time to save Jim, but the clock is ticking… and we fear someone must die.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has signed a slate of renowned global licensees, led by master toy partner Bandai America Incorporated, to capture the adventurous thrills of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ highly anticipated film Godzilla. I stand corrected.

When Monsters director Gareth Edwards was hired to direct Legendary and WarnerBros. Pictures’ Godzilla I scoffed at the idea and stated it would never happen, that he’d be replaced before the film ever went behind cameras.

Well, I’m a man who can admit when I’m wrong. I stand corrected. Filming is officially underway in Vancouver, and Edwards has shared a video from the first set – an airport. We wish him the best and hope that he delivers a Godzilla for the ages on May 16, 2014!

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla. has started production in Vancouver under the guidance of helmer Gareth Edwards. Last month I guessed that the film probably wouldn’t start shooting this month because of new writer Frank Darabont’s small window of time in which to turn around a new draft. Well – I’m eating my words (and I’m happy to do it). They’re shooting now. Warner Bros. has also announced that Ken Watanabe (Inception) has joined the production as well.

He joins the previously cast Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Johnson, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers.

Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston are also currently in talks with Gareth Edwards attached to direct.

Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce along with Mary Parent, who helped produce Pacific Rim for Legendary. Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham penned the script.

Pack another good actor on to the pile for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla. Per Variety, Juliette Binoche (pictured above; Dan In Real Life, Cosmopolis) is in negotiations to star in the film to be directed by Monsters helmer Gareth Edwards. As always, character descriptions are being kept under wraps.

While Legendary awaits Frank Darabont’s polish on the script, it’s worth noting that apparently none of the talent will be officially signed until he turns in a draft. This includes Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”) and Aaron Johnson (Kick Ass).

While Legendary awaits a Frank Darabont polish on its Godzilla script, the studio continues to assemble its cast, entering talks with Martha Marcy May Marlene and The Silent House‘s Elizabeth Olsen, pictured above, and “Breaking Bad” and Total Recall‘s Bryan Cranston, picture below, to co-star, reports Variety. Kick-Ass‘ Aaron Johnson is also in talks, as previously reported. Sources stress that no deals will be done until the finished script materializes.
