Well, my dear readers, there is now an answer just for you. Below is a chart that helps you come up with your goregrind band name. Mine is Ejaculating Trampoline Ejaculation. Yeah, it’s a bit redundant but I kinda like it.

['Evil Dead' Month] Members Of The Black Dahlia Murder, Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, And More Talk The ‘Evil Dead’ Films

The new Evil Dead film will be coming out next Friday and it seems like the entire horror fanbase is on pins and needles awaiting its release. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve seen such hype for a horror release since I began here at Bloody-Disgusting back in late 2009. From the look of it, it’s a film that not only respects the horror fanbase but is a film made for us. Still, having not seen the film, I can only wait with you and hope for the best.

This excitement and fervor has swept into the music world and members of some of the most extreme and intense bands out there want to share their thoughts on the original films and the upcoming remake. Head on below for thoughts from members of Paradise Lost, The Black Dahlia Murder, Monuments, Tech N9ne, Bonded By Blood, Palisades, Broken Hope, and a whole slew more! READ MORE

Dave McGraw From Cattle Decapitation Gets Pierced On The Road

Disclaimer: I’m friends with Pangea Piercing but Bloody-Disgusting is in no way involved or connected with them.

It’s harder to get more metal on the road than actually getting metal put in your face WHILE on the road, am I right? Well, Dave McGraw, drummer of deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation, seemed to think the exact same thing. Making a quick stop while on tour with Origin, Battlecross, Rings Of Saturn, Decrepit Birth, and Aborted, Dave went ahead and got his nose pierced at Pangea Piercing in Ann Arbor, MI at the Detroit tour stop. Aborted Supports Religious Penis Chomping*

abortedoriginofdiseasescreencap Aborted Supports Religious Penis Chomping*
*I can’t confirm it’s a penis but the video definitely suggests at the possibility.

Before you crucify me (hehe) for the headline of this article, watch the new Aborted video for Origin of Disease below. You can’t really skip around because everything that happens (when the band isn’t shown rocking out) builds off of the previous scene, resulting a climactic ending that, well…ouch. Starting with some rather suggestive ideas about a priest and a young woman, the story then turns to her being tied to a chair and undergoing an exorcism. After that, well…you’ll just have to see.

Aborted’s new album, Global Flatline, comes out Jan. 24th via Century Media Records and features several guest vocalists, including Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder), Julien Truchan (Benighted), Jason Netherton (Misery Index), and Keiijo Niinima (Rotten Sound). You can preorder your copy here.

Aborted Torture You With ‘Global Flatline’

aborteddigitalsinglepromo Aborted Torture You With Global Flatline
Extreme metal band Aborted is back with their seventh studio album Global Flatline! Coming in late January 2012, the band promises an album so brutal that it will “…make babies shit their diapers” (direct quote from the trailer). The trailer after the jump is, in essence, a short film showing a man wandering an apocalyptic town before being abducted by a sexy, albeit insane, woman hellbent on causing him as much gruesome pain as possible. Check it out and enjoy!

The Red Chord Announce U.S. Tour

Forced to miss its European tour with Rotten Sound and Aborted due to the effects of the recent volcano in Iceland, The Red Chord has lined up an amazing weekend’s worth of shows for fans on the East Coast.
Saturday, April 24, The Red Chord will play the main stage at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest in Worcester, MA, alongside Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth, and Job For A Cowboy. This last-minute NEMHF appearance is a homecoming of sorts for The Red Chord who hail from nearby Boston and who have played the now-legendary fest five times, starting in 2003.
Sunday, April 25, The Red Chord heads to Brooklyn, NY, to headline a show at Public Assembly with Premonitions Of War and Tiger Flowers. This is an ultra rare opportunity for fans to witness The Red Chord at a tiny venue. The alliance between The Red Chord and Premonitions Of War dates back to 2003 when the two bands teamed up on a self-booked US tour (along with none other than Between The Buried And Me!). The Red Chord frontman Guy Kozowyk went on to release a Premonitions Of War CD, Glorified Dirt + The True Face of Panic, on his label, Black Market Activities.
