Grammy-nominated BT is back with A Song Across Wires, his mind-blowing new album that’s now digitally available via iTunes, Armanda Music, as well as various other online retailers (it’ll be in stores Tuesday).
Bloody Disgusting appropriately received an early copy of the ‘full continuous mix’ track, which runs 79:30. The ‘continues mix’ is an album only exclusive to iTunes, which mixes the entire #ASAW album into a lengthy, single track that delivers BT’s “true vision” (it’s like a director’s cut to the shorter, tighter, and much more explosive album versions). Single track, or broken down individually, A Song Across Wires takes you on a head-trip of a journey through a musical landscape that touches everything from modern electronica to dubstep, trance and more. The press release explains that ASAW is the accumulation of over 20 years of pioneering music and innovation in the dance music scene. Recognized as the godfather of trance and progressive house, this album is a return to BT’s roots in many ways. The title “ASAW” is more than literal. READ MORE
Muscles, leather pants, and mesh shirts are back! AOL’s Noisecreep has learned that Danzig is planning to drop his first new studio album in 6 years. Titled ‘Deth Red Sabaoth’, the album will hit stores June 22nd through Evilive/The End.
“I think that fans will really dig this new album,” said Danzig in a statement. “I’ve been told several times that the album has a cool vitality to it, that it sounds energized, and I got that feeling when I was recording it. I wanted to have an organic sound, bigger and thicker, so I went out and bought some 1970′s Kustom tuck ‘n’ roll bass amps to play some of the guitar parts through. You’ll hear real reverb, real tremolo on this album, which sounds completely different than the stuff that’s done with computer chips.”
The very cool and very Danzig artwork for ‘Deth Red Sabaoth’ was designed by Joe Chiodo, who is known for his graphic novel and comic art and also works with Danzig on his Verotik publishing label. Read on to take a look!

“This record personally has been one of the most difficult, but most rewarding records I’ve ever worked on” explains guitarist Clint Lowery. “I put a lot of pressure on myself to contribute good material to the guys after being gone for last three records and that helped me focus more than I ever had.” Adds Lajon Witherspoon: “I feel this album shows new growth for the band. We’re very happy to have Clint back and are looking forward for everyone hearing the magic that’s made when we’re all together!” READ MORE
Far announce a May 18 release date for their fifth full-length and Vagrant debut At Night We Live. The album was produced by guitarist Shaun Lopez at his own Airport Studio in Southern California. It’s the band’s first release in over a decade.
“I’ve got ten years of interviews saying this would never happen, that Far would never play together, let alone make a record, so I really have no idea what will happen from here on out,’ comments singer Jonah Matranga. “All I know is that I’m really proud of the record, and I think it stands with anything we’ve made. Really, that’s all I cared about as we were making it.”
“I think every record we had made in the past, there was always some sort of outside pressure,” said Lopez. “Either it was label, or us trying to “make it happen”. This writing and recording process was great, since there wasn’t any of that. The end result is something we are all very proud of.” READ MORE

Biohazard was always a guilty pleasure of mine, I’d blast Urban Discipline in my car but for some reason would always turn it down as soon as I hit my high school parking lot and put on something like Symbolic by Death instead. Now quite a few years later I’m secure enough in my metal-manhood to say yeah big deal, I was just singing along to 5 Blocks To The Subway. Biohazard might not be shredding riffs and tearing faces of with insane drum fills, but their blend of punk/hardcore/metal was always something different that I appreciated.

If you’ve been waiting for some new Stone Temple Pilots since 2001′s Shangri-La Dee Da, we’ve got some good news for you. Scott Weiland caught up with Spinner “We’re almost finished,” he said of the eagerly awaited Don Was-produced album. “There will probably be 11 songs on the record and we have nine completed already. Then you have to have B-sides for Japan, the UK and the rest of Europe, so we’ll probably record 14 songs total.”
He also commented on the recording process and what it’s like to be back with his former band-mates. “It’s always been easy. We have a method that we use and it’s pretty basic,” Weiland says. “For the most part, Robert and Dean [DeLeo] write the instrumental riffs and then amongst the three of us we arrange the songs and then I write all the melodies and the lyrics.”
The new album is expected to release in 2010. READ MORE
Coheed & Cambria updated their website with a little of what we can expect from the band in 2010, including a new album and tour.

With “Year of the Black Rainbow,” we will be releasing a deluxe package that includes a NOVEL OF THE SAME NAME. Not a graphic novel, but a full 300+page prose novel, which will tell the origins of Coheed and Cambria, and much more.
