[TV] Next On “American Horror Story”, First Details Of Season 3 Revealed!!

With American Horror Story: Asylum concluding next Wednesday it’s (apparently) time to start discussing “American Horror Story: Season 3″ (I’m sure the new subtitle will come later). There was a press screening of this season’s last episode tonight. In Episode 2.13 “Madness Ends,” “Johnny sets out to complete his father’s work. Lana leads the charge to finally shut down Briarcliff.” Written by Tim Minear; directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

But the juicy part came during the Q&A, in which Ryan Murphy spilled some details (per THR) regarding next year’s season. First off? Sarah Paulson (pictured above) and Evan Peters (pictured inside) will be returning.

[BEST & WORST '12] The Worst Trailers Of The Year!

If you’re reading this, perhaps you read my post about the year’s best trailers. Now it’s time to bring the hammer down on the worst. Like I’ve said before, marketing is an art form, and it’s just as eligible for appraisal as the product its selling.

The majority of these are from correspondingly awful movies, but occasionally you get that rare nugget of a trailer that’s actually for a good movie that it can’t seem to sell it at all. We’ve got a couple of those in here as well.

[TV] Go Behind-the-Scenes Of Wednesday’s “American Horror Story: Asylum”

Still “shocked” by the last episode of FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum,“? Relive all the horror with the cast and crew in this re-cap of episode two, “Tricks And Treats”. The episode features an exorcism and one gut-wrenching sequence involving electro therapy.

In Episode 2 – “Tricks And Treats” (airing October 24th at 10:00 pm e/p), “The staff summon an exorcist to deal with a possessed farm boy, while Sister Jude’s dark past is revealed.

The new season is set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane in 1964 and revolves around Jessica Lange’s new character — a nun — and her boss at the institution, played by James Cromwell. TV Mania! “Walking Dead’ Eats 10 Millions Fans, Hi-Res “American Horror Story” Poster, & “Dexter” Season 7 Featurette!

It’s been an absolutely insane post-holiday news explosion, so we’re rounding up some fresh TV stories in this edition of News Bites.

Showtime has released a 4-minute long featurette that goes behind-the-scenes of “Dexter” Season 7, which premieres September 30. Here’s the synopsis for Episode 7.01: “Are You….?” “After witnessing her brother kill Travis Marshall, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) attempts to reconcile with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) while struggling to cover up their involvement with the murder. Meanwhile, Detective Mike Anderson has an unfortunate run-in, Quinn and Batista begin to make amends, and LaGuerta finds evidence that causes her to re-think the closed Bay Harbor Butcher case.

The team behind AMC released a Social Network-style one-sheet for The Walking Dead that celebrates their 10 million fans. In Season 3, premiering October 24, “Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and company will face a brand new threat – one that is very much human. While Rick and the gang are busy clearing out a prison in the hopes of transforming it into a protective fortress, not so far away is the town of Woodbury, Georgia, and its self-appointed leader, the Governor (David Morrissey).
