In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Trent Reznor was asked about the status of new Nine Inch Nails music, to which he replied, “All signs point to yes. Yeah, there will be new music. There are some things in the works.”
This also could include touring: “Yeah, if it feels right, it’s a possibility. I never said that that wasn’t going to happen, just that it couldn’t go on as it was.”
Back in 2009, Reznor embarked on a Nine Inch Nails 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour, stating “I’ve been thinking for some time now it’s time to make NIN disappear for a while.” Since then, he has helped score such films as The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as well as working with his wife, Mariqueen Maandig, on the How To Destroy Angels project. They will be releasing an EP entitled An Omen on Nov. 13th via Columbia Records. You can find more information here.
Reznor teases, “Stay tuned. We’ll see what happens here.”
