Get A Taste Of The Commentary Track On ‘The Day’ Home Video

Now on DVD and Blu-ray from WWE Studios and Anchor Bay Films is Doug Aarniokoski’s The Day, which stars Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Bell, Cory Hardrict, Dominic Monaghan, Shannyn Sossamon and Andrew Coutts. The only extra feature will be audio commentary with executive producer/director Doug Aarniokoski, producer Guy A. Danella and writer Luke Passmore.

[San Diego Comic-Con '12] ‘The Day’ Theatrical Trailer Looks Like ‘Stake Land’ With Bang!

In theaters August 29 from Anchor Bay and WWE Studios, we’ve just landed the official theatrical trailer for The Day, which features the star-studded cast of Shawn Ashmore (Frozen, Mother’s Day, X-Men), Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism), Michael Eklund (The Divide), Cory Hardrict (Gran Torino, Battle: Los Angeles), Dominic Monaghan (ABC’s “Lost”, Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and Shannyn Sossamon (One Missed Call, A Knight’s Tale). The trailer reminds me a bit of Stake Land, only loaded with action.

‘Saw 3D’ TV Spot Banned in UK

Further proving that our world is filled with weaklings and completel pussies, a TV trailer advertising the film Saw 3D has been banned after a 10-year-old complained that it was “distressing” and “inappropriately scheduled,” you know, strong words from a 10-year-old (sounds more like his/her parents put the words in their mouth). ‘Saw 3D’ Gets DVD/Blu-ray/VOD Date as ‘Saw: The Final Chapter’

Game over. The final chapter of the most popular horror franchise in history comes home as Lionsgate releases the film in a variety of formats for the home viewing audience. For home video purposes, the newly titled Saw: The Final Chapter will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack (two discs including Blu-ray and DVD – as well as code to download a Digital Copy on iTunes). ‘Saw 3D’ Editor Looks for ‘The Day’

Bloody Disgusting learned that Michael Eklund, straight off his role in Xavier Gens’ The Divide, has been cast alongside Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Bell, Cory Hardrict, Dominic Monaghan, and Shannyn Sossamon in Doug Aarniokoski’s now-filming The Day. In addition, we also discovered that Andrew Coutts has been hired as lead editor on the picture. He’s responsible for editing both Saw VI and this weekend’s Saw 3D. The Day is described as a visceral action thriller with moral depth spanning 24 hours during which the ensemble cast is pit against insurmountable odds.
