Several Clips From Feral Horror ‘Citadel’!

Now in New York theaters with a LA release set for November 16th from Cinedigm Entertainment Group and New Video is the Irish home invasion Citadel (review), about a group of feral children. We’ve added several clip to go along with an interview with director Ciaran Foy who talks about fear.

The film features Barnard (Ironclad, Hunky Dory, Guinea Pigs), alongside Scotland’s finest, James Cosmo (Braveheart, Troy, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Runway), and Wunmi Mosuka (I am Slave, One Night in Emergency). Co-stars include Ingrid Craigie and Amy Shiels.

In the film, “The dilapidated suburbia of Edenstown casts a shadow over Tommy Cowley’s life. Trapped there by his agoraphobia since his wife was fatally attacked by twisted feral children, he now finds himself terrorized by the same mysterious hooded gang, who seem intent on taking his baby daughter. Get Trapped In A Tunnel With This Exclusive ‘Citadel’ Clip!!

In NY theaters November 9th and LA theaters November 16th from Cinedigm Entertainment Group and New Video is the Irish home invasion Citadel (review), about a group of feral children. And now we have an exclusive and claustrophobic clip featuring Aneurin Barnard – and his baby – being chased in a tunnel by these cray kids!

The Irish/UK co-production is directed by hot new writer-director Ciarán Foy. Yesterday we saw the UK Trailer for Ryan Andrews’ Elfie Hopkins, which stars Jaime Winstone, Ray Winstone, Aneurin Barnard, and Kimberley Nixon.

Now Empire Online has a look at the new quad style poster for the film. While it’s by no means a slam dunk, it is an improvement over some of the marketing materials I’ve seen thus far.
