[Casting Bites] Anne Hathaway For ‘Robopocalypse,’ Eric Bana For ‘Beware the Night’

Anne Hathaway (pictured) will join both Ben Whishaw and Chris Hemsworth in Robopocalypse, the Steven Spielberg adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson’s novella, reports Empire. “If Robopocalypse happens I will be in it,” she tells Empire, “and I believe it’s quite real, though you never want to hang your hat on anything.” Penned by Cloverfield‘s Drew Goddard, the plot explores the fate of the human race following a robot uprising.

TheWrap reports that Eric Bana (Hulk, Star Trek) is in talks to star in Beware the Night, a paranormal police thriller to be directed by Sinister and Exorcism of Emily Rose‘s Scott Derrickson. Stream The Soundtrack To The Dark Knight Rises

With the July 20th release date for The Dark Knight Rises looming, fans are chomping at the bits for anything they can get their grubby little paws on. Now, Empire Online has the entire soundtrack available for streaming right here, giving fans the opportunity to hear what the film is all about. Composed solely by Hans Zimmer, the 15-track soundtrack is full of brooding, dark, percussive melodies that only accentuate the serious and intense tone that we’ve come to know and love from the series. None of the track titles really give anything away, but it’s still interesting enough for a listen.

Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy, The Dark Knight Rises takes place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight. READ MORE

The Agonist’s Alissa White-Gluz Voted Sexiest Vegetarian By PETA2

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t appreciate a sexy, beautiful woman fronting a metal band? Something about a gorgeous woman screaming at me is…well…kind of a turn on. Don’t judge me, okay? In any case, it turns out PETA2 also thinks the same thing as they chose Alissa White-Gluz, vocalist of The Agonist, over Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Olivia Wilde as  their “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian of 2011″. Personally, I think all four women are insanely hot and I would be thrilled if the most I could do is massage their eyebrows. What do you think? Should Alissa have won?

Anne Hathaway in the Mix for ‘Pride Prejudice and Zombies’?

It’s unconfirmed rumor weekend as Pajiba is also reporting that there are two more possibilities that have popped up as potential leads in Pride Prejudice and Zombies, which has recently been taken over from David O. Russell by Mike White. Apparently, Anne Hathaway is being considered for Elizabeth Bennett, with James McAvoy up for Darcy. We’ll be sure to report back when this is confirmed/debunked. The project mixes Jane Austen’s 1813 classic novel “Pride and Prejudice,” centering on Elizabeth Bennet’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a virus that turns the dead into zombies. The story’s set in an alternate version of 19th Century England that features deadly ancestors roaming the countryside.
