Megadeth Rust In Peace Live Blu-Ray Video Clip Available

In advance of its September 7 release, Megadeth fans can get a sneak peak at the group’s forthcoming Rust In Peace Live Blu-ray, DVD and CD (Shout! Factory) HERE.  AOL Noisecreep has posted an exclusive video clip of “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” captured on the final night of Megadeth’s historic Rust In Peace 20th anniversary tour at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, not far from where Dave Mustaine formed the band in 1983.

Rust In Peace Live marks the return of original bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth 1983-2002) to the iconic multi-platinum group after eight years.  Ellefson (bass) joins Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar).  The Blu-ray, DVD and CD feature the entire Rust In Peace track listing, including all-time classics “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” and “Hangar 18” along with bonus fan favorites from the rest of Megadeth’s catalog, including “Symphony For Destruction,” “Peace Sells” and “Skin O’ My Teeth.”

The 80-minute Rust In Peace Live DVD (5.1 Dolby Surround 16:9 Widescreen) and Blu-ray (5.1 DTS Master Audio 1080p High Definition) were directed by Kerry Asmussen (Green Day, Jay-Z, Coachella) with audio mixed by Ryan Greene. The DVD and Blu-ray also feature behind-the-scenes footage, including a rare glimpse of the band rehearsing in their dressing room as they prepare to take the stage.

Maria Brink (In This Moment) and Jeremy Spencer (Five Finger Death Punch) On AOL Noisecreep

AOL Noisecreep had In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink and Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer as featured guests on last week’s “Creep Show,” and they certainly seemed chummy as they chatted about their plans to barbecue, goof off and drink merrily when they’re not on stage at Mayhem Fest this summer. Click HERE to check out the Podcast now.
Joining Brink and Spencer on the podcast were “Creep Show” moderator Jon Wiederhorn, lead Noisecreep blogger Amy Sciarretto and Big Machine publicity Vice President Jamie Roberts. In addition to talking about the Mayhem Festival — which launches July 10 in San Bernardino, Calif. and runs through Aug. 14 in Oklahoma City — Brink and Spencer talked about their latest albums, favorite new bands, funniest drinking adventures and joined us for a pointed and at times humorous look at the week’s news.
