It’s always exciting and scary when you hear about a video game movie being made. You could end up with a huge pile of shit, or in the rare case, a masterpiece. The nice thing is Ubisoft is behind the movie along with New Regency so that definitely gives me more hope for the movie. Even better, Michael Fassbender (X-Men First Class, Prometheus) is said to be starring in the film. I hoping he’ll be taking on the lead role, but no word yet. What do you guys think, yay or nay to the Assassin’s Creed movie?

Gearbox Software and 2k Games have announced that Jesper Kyd, Cris Velasco, and Sascha Dikiciyan have teamed up to compose the upcoming sci-fi/western/action game Borderlands 2. The game will be coming out September 18th for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. You can watch a trailer for the game below.

Jesper Kyd is an award-winning composer for video games, films, and TV. He is well known for his work in the Assassin’s Creed and Hitman franchises.

Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan have worked together many times, scoring for such games as Hellgate: London, Prototype, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. READ MORE
