If you were at C2E2 at all this past weekend then undoubtedly you saw fans walking around the convention wearing the free “CROSSED” masks that were being given out at the Avatar Press booth. (Or the many cosplayers running around covered in face paint and corn syrup) In many respects “CROSSED” has spread through the comic industry just like any good airborne virus passes through the air and infects those who inhale it. But like a virus it is pretty disgusting, and it just makes you feel gross. So what better story to choose as our pick of the week than the newest arc in the series? You either love “CROSSED” or you hate “CROSSED”. There really isn’t any middle ground there. Most people hate it for its, ahem, lack of any moral fiber whatsoever. (I mean this in the most literal way possible) But if you’re like me you don’t let that stop you from loving the title. That is why I am happy to share a special (bloody and disgusting) look at the stunning variant covers for Avatar Press’ first issue of the newest arc in the “CROSSED” series with “FAMILY VALUES”. Last month it was revealed that publisher Avatar press would be releasing yet another arc in their very controversial “CROSSED” series with “FAMILY VALUES”. And while we can safely say that there won’t be any characters named “Horse Cock” we can promise that there will be plenty of depravity, language, violence, and buckets of blood.
