For many years the world of “B.P.R.D” has been brought to us by the award winning creative team of scribe Mike Mignola (“HELLBOY”), and illustrator Guy Davis (“BATMAN: NEVERMORE”, “HELLBLAZER”). That all changed recently as the artist parted ways with the rest of the “B.P.R.D” crew as his time with the series had come to an end with the final issue of the last arc. Enter artist Tyler Crook. The illustrator was recently announced as the newest artist to take up the task of illustrating Abe Sapien and the rest of the “B.P.R.D” crew, and last week Tyler was gracious enough to sit down and talk about working with Mike, illustrating one of the biggest macabre series running, and arm wrestling. This Wednesday creator Mike Mignola (“HELLBOY”) returns with the “B.P.R.D” in the newest storyline titled “HELL ON EARTH-NEW WORLD”. I have to say that for the better half of a year now the “B.P.R.D” series from Mike Mignola (“HELLBOY”) has bettered the more popular “HELLBOY”. While Big Red is still good, there seems to be something lacking in the past few arcs. But when it comes to “B.P.R.D” the series has been nothing but great fun and old school entertainment.
