“Weekend Warrior” revolves around an armchair home-repair enthusiast with no construction skills who unwittingly becomes a superhero who fights supernatural forces bent on destroying the world. Idea is to create a “Ghostbusters”-like comic romp that’s heavy on special effects.
Now that Evil Dead is finally out, we can share a SPOILER HEAVY 4-part series of b-roll footage from behind-the-scenes of the film, taken last year on the New Zealand set.
The film features cast members Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, and Jessica Lucas, whom you’ll see working on set.
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film in theaters now “Five twenty-something friends who become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead. An archaeologist’s tape recording reveals that the ancient text was discovered among the Khandarian ruins of a Sumerian civilization. Playing the taped incantations, the youths unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
How do you take an already great multiplayer game and make it even greater? Overrun Mode. What separates Overrun from a normal game of chainsaw your friends in half? Classes. Each participating character has a separate class, and with that class comes specific duties. It also means a much easier way to blame your friends for your team losing. Just a few days back we broke wind of a new Gears Of War game to be announced at E3. Yes, broke wind. Well, Gears Of War: Judgement has been announced and it’s definitely not was I was expecting. I think most people looked at it as if it could be a prequel to the original series. Turns out, well, that’s pretty much the truth. However it doesn’t center around Marcus and Dom, but Baird and Cole. We can look forward to an epic back story coming to life and an all new multiplayer mode. Also, health grenades? Fuck yeah. E3 is only on it’s first day and as usual every company has blown their gamey load all over. Now that I’m home from work, and hopefully you are too, let me start your evening out with an unholy amount of Halo 4. 343 Industries has taken over the Halo series from Bungie and from all the incredible goodies you can check out past the break, they’re doing an excellent job.
