E.A. might have been named the worst company in America, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some kick ass games out. Crysis 3 was announced and it looks INFREAKINGCREDIBLE. Mass Effect 3, and Battlefield 3 both with awesome campaigns and multiplayers. If you check out the video past the break E.A. updates you on the newly announced Crysis 3, new Battlefield 3 DLC, and Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer weekend. If you haven’t seen the debut trailer for Crysis 3, let me just say, it looks amazing. That and Battlefield 3 are neck and neck for the 2 best looking games out there.

In the coming 7-8 months Battlefield 3 will be gradually rolling out new DLC. Nicely spread out to keep you playing and killing until they announce Battlefield 4 and we all flip our shit. If you head past the break you can see some screenshots from the Donya Fortress map that will be in the Close Quarters DLC. You’ll be able to pick up said DLC this June for 15 dollars or 1200 Microsoft Bullet Shells. Playstation 3 players will have access to the DLC a week before it hits the PC and Xbox 360. Battlefield 3 is not shy about showing off its super model status. The Battlefield 3: Close Quarters expansion pack is coming this June, and the name says it all. You’re going to be going at it in some tight spaces. The Ziba Tower is quite a high class building, so why not totally fuck it up with a firefight? The expansion offers “vertical gameplay” which sounds amazing.

Well bitches, Gamescom is in full swing and there are tons of wonderful video game goods pouring out. For those who don’t know what exactly Gamescom is, just think of it as the E3 of Germany. I spent my Saturday and Sunday this weekend at the C2E2 convention in Chicago, checking out the nerds, the merch, the artwork and on my way out I almost missed the best thing there, (For me) battlefield 3. For all the Comic coverage you can handle, head over to the comics section GRAPHIC CONTENT, where Theo lays it all out for you.

They basically brought us into this mini theater room with an extra large flat screen tv and about 20 or so chairs. There is a 15 minute INCREDIBLE demo you get to watch with some scenes from the game. Some of which are in the video above. But that video above does NO justice at all to what I got to see. Watch Out Call of Duty, These Battlefield 3 Screens Are Stunning

It’s no surprise to anyone that the Call of Duty franchise has managed the incredible feat of total world domination. My grandma knows what Call of Duty is and she’s so old. In an attempt to steal a larger slice of the shooter market pie, damn, now I’m hungry, EA is putting more effort into creating top tier modern warfare games. The Medal of Honor reboot wasn’t the critical darling they desperately wanted it to be (though it sold well), there’s the upcoming multi-platform Crysis 2 and finally, the most likely contender to take some of Call of Duty’s success, the Battlefield series.

The next game in the series, Battlefield 3 has Call of Duty right in its sights and if the gameplay above is anything to go by I think I can honestly say this game looks better than its competitors. Whether its story, gameplay and multiplayer can compete have yet to be determined, but there’s really no argument that the game doesn’t look fucking incredible.
