‘Left 4 Dead 2′ For Linux Beta Goes Public Next Week

Valve is opening the Left 4 Dead 2 on Linux beta to the general gaming public next week. Owners of the Steam version of the game will soon have access to the beta, alongside the already accessible Extended Mutation System that was made available back in February.

Unfortunately, the multiplayer is limited to the pool of players who are participating in the soon-to-be-public beta, and if you are one of the unfortunate souls who have capped bandwidths — as someone who had to endure this recently, my heart goes out to you — Valve adds you “might want to wait for the changes to move to the main game.” Any Linux enthusiasts interested in checking this out?

This ‘Slender: The Arrival’ Beta Footage Isn’t For Those Who Get Easily Motion Sick

If you get easily motion sick, are prone to seizures, or are inflicted with a combination of the two (you poor thing), the following footage taken from the Slender: The Arrival beta, which was recently made available, probably isn’t for you. Actually, it really isn’t for you, because it’s essentially eleven minutes of someone running through the woods at night complete with weird noises and the shakiest of shaky cams. This puts The Blair Witch to shame, but I’ll still play it. Check it out after the break.

The Secret World’s Official Release Date, While The Beta Is Split Wide Open

The Secret World is a game I’ve been way too excited about for way too long. If you hang around here at all you probably already know that. Well, in the lull that is usually summer video game releases The Secret World will be making an appearance at the perfect time. June 19th of this year TSW will be releasing on the PC, and I will say goodbye to the sun until September. Originally slated (I hate that word so I’ll use projected) for April, upon the massive beta testing they decided to push it back to invest more time in development and making everything great.

Make sure if you haven’t that you sign up for the beta because in the coming months they’ll be opening it up a lot more than before. No more closed beta, a lot more open beta events. Try before you buy! I tried it, and just as I thought I love it. Can’t wait. READ MORE

The Secret World Finally Gets A Release Date, AND A Beta!

I could not be more giddy about the fact that The Secret World has a release date. However, it’s April of 2012, and the game (as of right now) is only coming out for the PC. I just lost my boner. But I still have a half chub anyhow because I’m going to get the game anyways. Moving on to the beta…

Players and gamers alike can sign up at TheSecretWorld.com starting August 26th, this Thursday for the games upcoming betas. READ MORE

11 Invite A Friend To The Gears Of War 3 Multiplayer Beta!

That’s great news for those who maybe couldn’t afford to get the game, or pre-order it, or maybe those who have never really played Gears.
