Finnish melodic metal band Omnium Gatherum have released “New Dynamic”, a new single from their upcoming Lifeforce Records release Beyond, which comes out March 5th in N. America (Feb. 25th in Europe). This album is the follow-up to 2011′s New World Shadows, which I loved. You can listen to the song below.
The next game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream is another psychological action thriller called Beyond: Two Souls. It stars Academy Award nominee Ellen Page as a young woman named Jodie Holmes who has incredible powers given to her by a mysterious entity that follows her throughout her life. The game will cover 15 years of Jodie’s life, and it has a visual style that’s very similar to Heavy Rain. It’s also gorgeous, as the 20+ minutes of gameplay you can find after the jump proves.
The makers of the fantastic cinematic thriller Heavy Rain have been hard at work on a secret game that was unveiled at E3 earlier today. It’s called Beyond: Two Souls, and don’t let its awful title fool you–this game looks incredible. It’s a psychological action thriller starring a young woman who has rather remarkable powers given to her by an invisible entity. You can see the trailer, filled with lots of gorgeous gameplay, after the break. Oh, and before you ask, yes, this time it is Ellen Page.
The following has Silence of the Lambs written all over it, unless they drop the ball and it ends up coming across like the “South Park” episode Catman’s Incredible Gift (clip inside). Teri Polo (Little Fockers), Dermot Mulroney (Red State), Julian Morris and Jon Voight will star in Beyond, a thriller from Crystal Sky’s subsidiary Crystal Edge. The story centers on a veteran detective and a questionable television psychic who will stop at nothing to find a missing child. Polo is playing Voight’s daughter and the mother of the child. Joseph Rusnak, who helmed The 13th Floor, is sitting behind the camera for the $10 million production, currently shooting in Alaska.
