New Viral Images From ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ For You To Gobble Up!!

There’s a few cool new viral images out there from Texas Chainsaw 3D, which continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace.

Included are a newspaper clipping that ties the events of the first film to this sequel, a belated Thanksgiving greeting from the Sawyer Family and a simulated artist’s rendering of some gloves that Ed Gein – the real-life serial killer inspiration behind Leatherface – fashioned out of human skin. There’s also a look at an apparently forbidden evidence box.

In theaters January 4, 2013, the slasher is being directed by John Luessenhop from a screenplay by Adam Marcus, Debra Sullivan and Kirsten Elms. Dan Yeager, John Dugan, Bill Moseley, Alexandra Daddario, Sue Rock, Tania Raymonde, Scott Eastwood, Gunnar Hansen, Tobe Hooper, Paul Rae, Keram Malicki-Sánchez, Ritchie Montgomery, Trey Songz, Marilyn Burns, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry and Richard Riehle star. It’s been rated “R” by the MPAA for “strong, grisly violence and language throughout.

Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley Team For Ambulance Horror ‘Old 37′

A psychological slasher about two brothers posing as paramedics, who intercept 911 calls in a retired old ambulance begins shooting November 17th in Long Island, New York.

Fast paced and blood soaked, Old 37 taps into the most basic human fear, vulnerability. The words “don’t worry I’m a paramedic” will make you think twice before dialing 9-1-1, similar to what Jaws did with people going into the water.

The film stars Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet) and Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw 3D, The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) as twisted brothers working together to exact revenge on careless teen drivers who may be responsible for their mother’s hit and run death.

The star cast includes Brandi Cyrus, (Hannah Montana, Zoey 101), Caitlin Harris (Secret Life of the American Teenager), Olivia Alexander (Attack of the 50ft Cheerleader, Killer Eye),the face of Abercrombie & Fitch Maxwell Zagorski, Ben Schneider, Mindy White (States, Lydia), a performance by 6-piece Australian band Sheppard and more.

Written and produced by Paul Travers, directed and edited by three-time Emmy winning editor Christian Winters with producing partners, Carrie Alton, Evan Greenhill, Dayna Ghiraldi and executive produced by Steven Beer, this team is ready to bring the scare. And many of the scares will be provided by Brian Spears who is doing the FX and has worked on V/H/S, Beneath and Hellbenders, just to name a few.

First Clip From ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ Welcomes You To Texas Motherf*cker!!!

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s still, we’ve now got a clip from Texas Chainsaw 3D, which continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace.

The clip (via Machinima) expands upon the scene from which yesterday’s still, featuring Nikki (Tania Raymondei) and Ryan (Tremaine ‘Trey Songz’ Neverson), was pulled. There’s some chainsaw action and a Shane Black-esque one liner. Question. Why would someone welcome Leatherface to Texas? He’s already there, right? It kind of makes even less sense than your stewardess or pilot welcoming you to a city they arrived in at the same time as you.

In theaters January 4, 2013, the slasher is being directed by John Luessenhop from a screenplay by Adam Marcus, Debra Sullivan and Kirsten Elms. Dan Yeager, John Dugan, Bill Moseley, Alexandra Daddario, Sue Rock, Tania Raymonde, Scott Eastwood, Gunnar Hansen, Tobe Hooper, Paul Rae, Keram Malicki-Sánchez, Ritchie Montgomery, Trey Songz, Marilyn Burns, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry and Richard Riehle star. Bill Moseley Talks Returning To The Saw In ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’, Chiller TV’s “Dead Souls”

I nabbed Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) last night on the red carpet for the Eyegore Awards (which kicked off this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood). And he was definitwly game to discuss Lionsgate’s newly titled Texas Chainsaw 3D. It goes without saying that he’s not reprising his role as “Chop-Top” from TCM2. And turns out there’s a reason we don’t see much of him in the trailer.

I didn’t see much of you in that trailer, I assume they’re saving you for later. “Correct! I play Drayton Sawyer, who was played by Jim Siedow in the very first film in 1974. I play him imperfectly, I might add. But with love and enthusiasm.” Anything else coming up? “I’ve got Dead Souls coming up for Chiller TV. It’s based in the book by Michael Laimo and is directed by Colin Theys.

Texas Chainsaw 3D is in theaters January 4, 2013. Dead Souls premieres on Chiller TV Friday, October 12th at 9PM ET.

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights dates are September 21, 22, 28, 29 and October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31.

[Interview] Bill Moseley On Playing A Child Killer In ‘The Tortured’ And What It Was Like On The Set Of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’

Fire in the Sky director Rob Lieberman’s latest, The Tortured, is now available on VOD, XBOX, iTunes, Sony Playstation, Amazon, and Sundance Now via IFC Films and opened in NY Theaters on Friday, June 15th.

One of the stars of the film is Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, and Exit Humanity). Earlier this week I hopped on the phone with him to discuss a multitude of projects. In Part One of our interview we chatted about Exit Humanity and Manson Girls. Now, in Part Two, we talk The Tortured as well as his upcoming role in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

The Tortured also stars Erika Christensen Jesse Metcalfe, Fulvio Cecere, Alfonso Quijada, Chelah Horsdal and Thomas Greenwood. In the film, “The perfect marriage of Craig (Metcalfe) and Elise Landry (Christensen) is suddenly shattered when their young son is abducted and murdered. When the killer (Moseley) is brought to trial, he manages to plea bargain his way to a lighter sentence. Utterly outraged by this miscarriage of justice, the grieving parents decide to take matters into their own hands. They capture the murderer, imprison him and subject him to the same monstrous acts he perpetrated upon their defenseless child. The unforeseen consequences, however, challenge their ideas of vengeance, justice and the true nature of evil.

[Interview] Bill Moseley Talks First Time Director John Geddes And ‘Exit Humanity’, Gives An Update On ‘Manson Girls’

On DVD and VOD platforms June 19 from Bloody Disgusting Selects is John Geddes’ post-apocalyptic Exit Humanity, which portrays a young man’s struggle to survive in the aftermath of an undead outbreak during the American Civil War. The movie is heavily inspired by classic films such as Jeremiah Johnson and The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Horror icon Bill Moseley (Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) appears in the film as General Williams. I hopped on the phone with him yesterday to talk about what attracted him to the role and what it was like working with first-time director John Geddes. We wound up talking for a while and discussed a number of other projects, so I’ve decided to split this interview into two parts. Today’s installment will focus on Exit Humanity and touch on his role as Charles Manson in Manson Girls, while tomorrow’s portion of the interview will concern The Tortured and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

Exit Humanity also stars Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo), Stephen McHattie (Pontypool, The Watchmen, 300), and new horror hero Mark Gibson. Brian Cox provides narration. In the film, “How does a man deal with the loss of everything meaningful in his life, and the loss of mankind’s humanity amongst chaos and despair? Set in 1870’s Tennessee, Exit Humanity is the legend of Edward Young’s horrific and dramatic journey through an unexplainable outbreak of the walking dead to lay to rest the most important thing in his life, his son’s ashes. The bleak post-Civil War era backdrop highlights the severe divide that the United States was facing, and the true loss of hope that so many felt during this period in history.
