Had Enough ‘Birdemic’? I Thought Not!

Remember that ‘Birdemic’ trailer that had some heavy nu-metal/industrial music playing towards the second half? No? Well watch it at the link above to refresh your memory! Anyways, that song was penned by nu-metal band Chamber of Pudd and is entitled, you guessed it, ‘Birdemic (This Is)’. The video definitely has that ‘Birdemic’ quality about it, so if you’re into that kind of thing, this is right up your alley.

Chamber of Pudd – Birdemic (This Is) from Severin Films on Vimeo.

Here’s a quote from singer/songwriter King Pudd: ”The film really resonated with me. I had a girlfriend who was my world who passed away… she was dead to me anyway… the details are too painful to rehash in my warped mind but she had a bird. I took the bird after she died. Cared for it. But it was really fucking mean. And scared me. But I could relate with me locked in my cage of rage and that bird locked in a cage of cage in a fucking rage. We were mirror images in a fucked up world.”
Don’t forget to pre-order your copy of ‘Birdemic’, coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray on Feb. 22nd.
