Happy Friday the 13th everyone, and I hope that each and everyone of you is properly celebrating one of horror’s most sacred of days. That being said, in the spirit of the holiday, we must regretfully inform you that the Zombie-Liquorice.com portion of the Dead by Summer sweepstakes has ENDED. However, never fear, because we are back again this week with and all new chance for you to win some fresh new swag thanks to the great people over at Fright-Rags.com who have supplied us with a whopping FIVE shirts for you to get your grubby little hands on. Now, while we can’t tell you WHAT the shirts will be (Consider it a surprise) we CAN tell you how to find out. Read on for the skinny…
As with most great things in life, the past couple of days seem like a blur. After taking countless pictures (all of which will be available soon), meeting as many cosplayers, fans, and friends (new and old), myself, Johnny_Trouble, and JerryBaker are finally nearing the end of our stay in the Windy City. However, we aren’t out of the woods yet, because we still have another action packed day ahead of us. Below you can check out our intro to the rainy, cold day that is C2E2: Day 3.
xfAdmittedly, when I first heard of the precariously titled ‘BOY WONDER’, I was skeptical on many fronts. The first being that I didn’t foresee a film by such a ‘Batmanesque’ title as ‘BOY WONDER’ to be a dark, twisted, pulse pounding vigalante film with plenty of violence to go around. However, after getting a chance to see the film this past week I have to say that I joined the ranks of the many critics who have handed the Indie such high praise. The film, directed by Michael Morrissey, premiered today at The Con, and inside you can get our exclusive interview with Michael as well as stars Caleb Steinmeyer (‘LOST’), and Zulay Henao (‘FEAR ITSELF’, ‘S.DARKO’)! After getting some much needed rest after the whirlwind that was day one, the fearless (except for men dressed as Emma Frost and Chicago streets after 2AM) Bloody-Disgusting.com Graphic Content crew hit the streets of the Windy City to head to the second day of C2E2. The crowds are predictably larger than that of Friday’s turn out, and if today is any type of barometer for what we can expect later on in the day, we are going to be in for a LOT of fun. Below you can check out our ‘pre-game show’ show of sorts where we get you (or make a valiant attempt) pumped for the insanity of Day 2…
Day one of the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo was a lot like a tornado. It caught you up and refused to let go until it had its way with you, and it was just as violent as that entails. After meeting with countless fans, writers, artists, and publishers, myself, Johnny_Trouble, and JerryBaker made it out of the convention virtually unscathed. However, day one is ALWAYS the slowest day, and you can only imagine the intensity that will be Day 2. It was a day of meeting friends new and old, sore feet, fantastic interviewees, and audio malfunctions, but all in all a very successful day. Inside you can check out a few select photos from The Con, as well as a brief video. Read on for the skinny!

After a long 5 and a half hour drive, copious amounts of energy drinks, cigarettes, and random iPod playlists, the crew of Bloody-Disgusting.com’s Graphic Content made it to the showroom floor of the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo – C2E2! Thus far the convention has been a huge success, pulling in hundreds upon hundreds of passionate fans, talented artists/writers, and some of the industrie’s heaviest hitters. Below you can get a special look at myself, and interview contributor Johnny_Trouble live from the showroom floor just minutes before it was opened to the public, and inside you can get a look at some of the best (and worst) of day one so far.
