As with most great things in life, the past couple of days seem like a blur. After taking countless pictures (all of which will be available soon), meeting as many cosplayers, fans, and friends (new and old), myself, Johnny_Trouble, and JerryBaker are finally nearing the end of our stay in the Windy City. xfAdmittedly, when I first heard of the precariously titled ‘BOY WONDER’, I was skeptical on many fronts. The first being that I didn’t foresee a film by such a ‘Batmanesque’ title as ‘BOY WONDER’ to be a dark, twisted, pulse pounding vigalante film with plenty of violence to go around. However, after getting a chance to see the film this past week I have to say that I joined the ranks of the many critics who have handed the Indie such high praise. The film, directed by Michael Morrissey, premiered today at The Con, and inside you can get our exclusive interview with Michael as well as stars Caleb Steinmeyer (‘LOST’), and Zulay Henao (‘FEAR ITSELF’, ‘S.DARKO’)! After getting some much needed rest after the whirlwind that was day one, the fearless (except for men dressed as Emma Frost and Chicago streets after 2AM) Bloody-Disgusting.com Graphic Content crew hit the streets of the Windy City to head to the second day of C2E2. C2E2 2011 Day 1 Wrap-Up

Day one of the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo was a lot like a tornado. It caught you up and refused to let go until it had its way with you, and it was just as violent as that entails. After meeting with countless fans, writers, artists, and publishers, myself, Johnny_Trouble, and JerryBaker made it out of the convention virtually unscathed. However, day one is ALWAYS the slowest day, and you can only imagine the intensity that will be Day 2. It was a day of meeting friends new and old, sore feet, fantastic interviewees, and audio malfunctions, but all in all a very successful day. After a long 5 and a half hour drive, copious amounts of energy drinks, cigarettes, and random iPod playlists, the crew of Bloody-Disgusting.com’s Graphic Content made it to the showroom floor of the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo – C2E2! Thus far the convention has been a huge success, pulling in hundreds upon hundreds of passionate fans, talented artists/writers, and some of the industrie’s heaviest hitters.
