New Music Videos From David Lynch And Saint Vitus

There’re two new videos today that I want to bring to your attention. The first is the official video for David Lynch‘s Crazy Clown Time, which comes off his album of the same name (review). The video is definitely NSFW as it features a woman with her breasts bared for a good majority of the video. That being said, it’s undeniably a Lynch video. With strange characters, bright colors and odd imagery, the music and visuals fit perfectly.

The second video comes from legendary doom metal band Saint Vitus. Coming off their upcoming album Lillie: F-65, you can check out the video for Let Them Fall below. This album will be their first release in 17 years. The video is directed by Michael Panduro who brought us the fantastically disgusting Ohrwurm video by Cephalic Carnage
Check out both videos below and enjoy!

Sad news has come out today as legendary Blues/RnB singer Etta James has passed away due to complications from leukemia. She died with her husband and sons by her side. The singer was well known for such songs as The Wallflower, Something’s Got A Hold Of Me, and At Last. She was 73.
Since I don’t know much about Etta and her history, I’d recommend you read CNN’s article as it goes in depth into her life and career. But I personally have enjoyed listening to Etta for many years. Her body of work is astounding and the impact she had on the scene is undeniable. Rest well Miss Peaches, you will be missed.

Full Details For Director David Lynch’s Album ‘Crazy Clown Times’

Late last year, I wrote an article about legendary director David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Twin Peaks) wanting to compose and release a music album. Originally, the album was supposed to be released in June, but due to situations arising, the release date was pushed. Well, full details for the album, entitled Crazy Clown Time, have emerged and it’s sounding very impressive!

The album will be released on November 8th via Sunday Best Recordings and will be available for purchase at retail outlets in both physical and digital formats, including a Collector’s Edition CD; iTunes exclusive with video; and a double LP set with bonus tracks.
Lynch states: “The love of experimenting with sound and music is what’s driving this boat. All of the songs on the album started as a jam. The jams eventually found a form and lyrics appeared.”
Check after the jump for more information.
