It’s Sunday, and you know what that means! “Game of Thrones is tonight?” YES. Daenerys has her boats, her dragons, and her army. Shit’s about to go down.

It’s been a long time since I last featured a trio of horror short films, but I was in the mood to watch a few more so I figured we could do it together. After the break I have the newest film from Bloody Cuts — the talented folks behind that amazing Suckablood film — as well as a few older shorts that will definitely get under your skin.

[Boredom Bytes] A Bittersweet Zombie Film, ‘Saturday The 14th,’ Zero Punctuation Reviews ‘The Walking Dead’

Boredom Bytes is back, bitches!

That was inappropriate, I apologize. It’s just that I get easily excited, and sharing awesome Internet videos with all of you makes me excited, then on top of that I’ve had like, a lot of Mountain Dew. Too much, probably. Is two two liters too much? WebMD probably has the answer for that. Before I go check to see if I’m about to fall into some sort of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup induced coma, I’d very much like to share a couple of amazing videos with you. Check them out after the break.

After the break you’ll find a beautiful fan-made trailer for Telltale’s The Walking Dead, BioShock’s Rapture recreated in Minecraft, and you’ll also find out what happens when you get too many kills in Halo 4. [Boredom Bytes] ‘DayZ’ Spectacular: Ghillie Suit Slenderman, Stalkers, And Psychos!

I’d like to forget about all that War Z nonsense, and what better way to get that game out of our minds than with a special DayZ edition of Boredom Bytes! After the break I’ve collected several of my favorite videos I’ve seen from the game so far, including a poor guy getting chased by a mysterious man in a ghillie suit, another poor guy getting chased by a total psycho, and two more poor guys getting chased by a Pac-Man ghost. They’re all pretty great.

You all are mad talented. I received numerous film submissions after my horror short focused Boredom Bytes from Bloody Disgusting readers, who apparently peruse film sites by day, only to don their director robes at night so they can craft sickeningly awesome short films. [Boredom Bytes] Three Incredible Horror Short Films You Really Need To Watch

It’s been a while since we had a new Boredom Bytes, but boy oh boy, is this a special one. They’re not necessarily related to video games, but I found three amazing horror shorts that are definitely worth your time. After the jump I have a film about a town that takes the problem of babysitter murderers very seriously, why you shouldn’t suck your thumb (this was news to me), and an intensely creepy thirty second short that’s as fun to watch as it is wholly unnerving. Check them out!

[Boredom Bytes] The ‘Slender’ Games, Ghost Rider Strolls Through Liberty City, Conan O’Brien Reviews ‘Resident Evil 6′

You feel that? That silence? This is the calm before the storm, because right now, we’re on the precipice of total anarchy. You thought last week, which was largely dominated by the Wii U and Steam Greenlight, was busy? Oh, no sir. Next week we have Borderlands 2, a game that’s brimming with guns and wub wub, and Torchlight II, which I’ve already spent a few hours in for my review (look for it next week!), and it’s pretty great so far. Not long after that we have Resident Evil 6, followed by Dishonored, and a slew of other incredible looking titles that are guaranteed to take up all our time. So enjoy this moment, because you’ll soon have one excellent game after another trying to seduce its way into your living room. After the break, I have some pretty fantastic videos for you, including a Slenderman take on The Hunger Games, Ghost Rider’s recent vacation in Liberty City, and Conan O’Brien reviews Resident Evil 6.

[Boredom Bytes] ‘Silent Hill’ Kart Racing, A Fan-Made ‘The Secret World’ Trailer, Bane Plays ‘Slender’

I don’t mean to boast here, but I’ve brought you all some pretty amazing videos since Boredom Bytes began back in July. We’ve seen a handful of intensely weird, borderline nightmare-inducing videos, as well as a few hilarious ones as well. With that said, there’s a very good chance the batch I have waiting for you after the jump is the best I’ve scavenged so far. Continue on for an incredible Silent Hill Kart Racer trailer, a fan-made The Secret World trailer, and Bane plays Slender.

It’s Sunday! You know what that means… actually, it really only means that a majority of us are dreading the start of another week of school or work, so to help your mind cope with the loss of yet another weekend, I have some pretty awesome videos for you that I found on this big, translucent sphere of happiness that we all call the Internet. Today’s selection is pretty diverse, including the iconic Doom music recreated on floppy drives, bad driving in Sleeping Dogs (insert awful racist joke here), and the crazy catchy BioShock song. [Boredom Bytes] Zombies Invade NYC, American Smartphone Psycho, ’300′ Recreated In ‘Skyrim’

It’s the beginning of the week, most of us have work and/or school to look forward to, but for now, let’s forget about all that. I want you to relax, let down your hair, maybe rest your aching feet on a pillow or a small dog. It’s therapy time, and what better way to soothe your frayed nerves than by watching some funny, awkward, and awkwardly funny videos scrounged up from around the deepest corners of the interwebs. Here they are, enjoy.

[Boredom Bytes] The Freakiest Thing You’ll See Today, Post-It Mario, Conan Reviews ‘Minecraft’

Oh boy, I hope you’re ready for a substantial dose of awesome, weird, and funny, because that’s exactly what you’re going to get from the trio of videos I have waiting for you after the break. In fact, the videos I’ve found answer some of life’s burning questions. Like, for those of us who aren’t willing to take acid, what would be the freakiest, most nightmarish thing a mind on acid could come up with? Yeah, that gets answered. I don’t want to tell you how to enjoy these videos, but I suggest watching the creepy monster face acid trip video first so you can use the other two as palette cleansers. Enjoy.

It’s Friday, and that means the weekend is almost here. If you’re struggling to find the strength to get through the day, I highly recommend these videos. They’ll spend some time with you, make you feel real special, then disappear after you’ve used them up. Consider this my gift to you. [Boredom Bytes] Gaming With The Reaper, ‘Left 4 Dead’ On The Vita, Real Life ‘Day Z’ Sucks

I hope all of you have your fingers intact after the explosive firework shenanigans that took place last night. I do, but that could be because I spent my night watching Alien/Aliens while playing Dawnguard. Pathetic? Maybe. Today I have some pretty fantastic byte-sized bites of gaming awesome for you, including an answer to the long-asked question of where we all go when we die (hint: it includes gaming with the Grim Reaper), what Left 4 Dead would look like on PS Vita, and how bad the Day Z mod for Arma II would suck if it were real. Check them out after the jump!

[Boredom Bytes] A ‘Borderlands’ TV Show, Why You Should Never Date A Jedi, What If Real Life Had DLC?

Let the byte-sized bites of funny continue, because family-sized funny is something you’ll feel guilty about after you’ve gorged yourself on it, but with bite-sized funny it’s all good. Today I’ve gathered a few videos from around this bundle of tubes we call the interwebs, including an immensely exciting teaser for a Borderlands TV show, a couple reasons why you should never, under any circumstances, date a Jedi (lest he unsheathe his meatsaber and ruin your life), and the terrifying realities of real-life DLC. Check them out after the break!

[Boredom Bytes] It Sucks Being A Bad Guy, Getting Funky In ‘Skyrim’, I’m In Love With ‘Halo’

Slow news days suck. They mean I don’t get to write quite as much as I’d like to and you don’t get a sufficient dose of gaming awesome that only Bloody Disgusting can provide. That’s why I’ve decided to remedy days like these with a swift kick to the face in a brand new series called Boredom Bytes. Whenever you see one of these you’ll know you’re about to be entertained, because hidden inside each of these will be a gooey center consisting of funny/weird/random videos and miscellaneous other byte-sized bites of gaming-related awesome. Head past the break for our first batch of funny, including an insanely catchy Halo song, some funky dancing in Skyrim, and a look at how badly it sucks to be a video game bad guy.

What’s Coming? Avengers Vs. X-Men!

So what’s all the hoopla about this ‘It’s Coming’ teaser nonsense from Marvel? Yep, you guessed it Avengers Vs. X-Men. The publisher revealed their “secret” plans yesterday afternoon on their website as well as in USA Today that their next big event will not be run by one single man, but by a team of their best writers. Avengers Vs. X-Men will be co-written by Marvel’s five “Architect” writers: Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and Jonathan Hickman with illustrations by John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel and Adam Kubert. Sounds like a winner to me! Read on for some more deets.
