The sixth annual Rockstar Energy Mayhem festival lineup has been unveiled and I’m already beginning to lose my mind! The festival will be headlined by shock rocker/horror director Rob Zombie along with Five Finger Death Punch and will also see performances from Children Of Bodom, Machine Head, Behemoth, Job For A Cowboy, and many more.

Personally I’m very excited to see Rob Zombie again as well as get a first chance to see Behemoth, Amon Amarth, and Battlecross.

Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday at 12pm local time. The full 26-date trek and lineup can be seen below.

Serbian melodic metal band Destiny Potato have released a new song entitled “Love Song”, which comes from their upcoming debut album Lun. The song is available for free download on a new Century Media Records sampler album, which also includes free music from such artists as In Flames, Devin Townsend, Jolly, In This Moment, Lacuna Coil, Fozzy, and more. Recently signed Century Media Records band Butcher Babies will be hitting the road with shock rocker Marilyn Manson on a N. American tour that begins later this month. A full touring schedule can be seen below.

The band will also be performing at the ‘Hell & Heaven Music Fest 2013′ in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The festival runs May 18th and 19th and confirmed acts include Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, Moonspell, and Motorhead. More details can be found here. READ MORE

Marilyn Manson Announces Early 2013 N. American Headline Tour

Marilyn Manson has announced a full N. American tour schedule for early 2013. The tour begins Jan. 18th in Milwaukee, WI and concludes on Feb. 23rd in Las Vegas, NV. Support will come from Butcher Babies, who recently signed to Century Media Records. The full touring schedule can be seen below and select tickets are available here.

Manson was nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” category for “No Reflection”, which comes off his Born Villain album (review). READ MORE

Horror-Inspired Band Butcher Babies Signs With Century Media Records

Hard rock/heavy metal female-fronted band Butcher Babies have signed to Century Media Records and aim to release their debut full-length album in Summer 2013. The band, who uses horror-inspired theatrics on stage, hails from Los Angeles, CA and has been building a solid fanbase worldwide, including an opening slot for Anthrax.

“Century Media has been a huge supporter of Butcher Babies for a long time, and it feels natural to join their tight knit family. It’s an honor for us to be on a roster amongst many other bands that have inspired us for so long. We couldn’t be more excited about the future of this union.”

Singers Carla Harvey and Heidi Shepherd were named two of the year’s ‘Hottest Women In Rock’ by Revolver Magazine
