The Pact II

Short: Luddington will take on the lead role of June Abbott in the film. The character is plagued by nightmares of serial killer Judas, who she discovers she has a far closer relationship with than previously imagined.

Long: Only a few weeks after Annie Barlow exterminated the plague that was the Judas Killer, we meet June, a woman whose carefully constructed life in Los Angeles is beginning to unravel due to lucid nightmares so awful they disturb her waking life. When Special Agent Kevin Dickey, the FBI agent assigned to wrap up the case of the newly deceased Judas Killer shows up at June’s door, he brings with him some terrifying news – there is a Judas copycat killer on the loose in her neighborhood! In the course of his investigation, Dickey shows June a picture of the copycat killer’s victim, and she is stunned to see that it’s the same woman she saw brutally murdered in her nightmares.

A series of hauntings begin to torment June, growing in frequency and ferocity over time. Now, not only does she see murder victims, but her dreams put herself in the role of the murderer. June fears that the spirit of the Judas Killer is the architect of some greater plan in which she must now play a part. June struggles to maintain her grip on sanity as she plunges into her own investigation of these events. No matter the result, the truth will be horrifying either there is true evil inside of her, or someone, or something, is determined to destroy her… IT’S NOT OVER.

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Camilla Luddington, pictured, has a scary summer ahead of her as the actress, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on the ABC medical drama this year, is set to star in indie horror movie The Pact II, Deadline reports.

Luddington will take on the lead role of June Abbott in the film. The character is plagued by nightmares of serial killer Judas, who she discovers she has a far closer relationship with than previously imagined.

Patrick Fischler (“Californication”) and Scott Michael Foster have also been cast in the sequel to the Nicholas McCarthy written and directed 2012 movie as FBI profiler Greg Ballard and June’s cop boyfriend Daniel Meyer.

Directed by Dallas Hallam and Patrick Horvath, The Pact II is set to start filming in mid June.

Crystal Dynamics Is Planning A ‘Tomb Raider’ Movie Reboot As Well

Well, I’m about to explode with excitement. Tomb Raider is out, it’s completely incredible, and I can’t wait for Crystal Dynamics to crank out another one. Even better is they are planning to reboot the movie series as well. I know, it’s a little nerve wrecking when you hear that a video game is tossed into the shark infested waters of the movie world. But the good news is that Crystal Dynamics still very much has a hand in the creation of the movie. Some hopefully they will keep it from going to shit. I’m also hoping they cast Camilla Luddington (below) the voice of Lara in the newly rebooted game as Lara in the movie. Check out the full story over at VARIETY.

TV: ‘True Blood’ Adopts New Faerie Sister

TV: True Blood Adopts New Faerie Sister

Camilla Luddington (pictured), who portrayed Lizzie on “Californication “, has landed a recurring role on the upcoming season of HBO’s vampire drama “True Blood,” which will have a special focus on fairies, reports Deadline.

Luddington will play Claudette, one of Claude’s (Giles Matthey) many sisters, who gives Sookie insight into what it means to be a faerie.

Back in February it was reports that Jacob Hopkins (Priest) had landed the recurring role as the final member of “True Blood”’s highest vampire governing body, the Vampire Authority. Hopkins plays “Alexander Drew,” one of the Authority’s chancellors who was turned to darkness at the age of 9-years-old. Alexander is described as an impetuous vamp who likes to taunt those around him. Carolyn Hennesy will fill the final vacancy on the Authority.

Season 5 is currently in production and premieres this summer on HBO. READ MORE
