IDW Teams Up with Cartoon Network To Bring Your Favorite Toons To The Page

IDW Publishing has partnered with Cartoon Network. They plan on bringing a load of classic cartoons to the comic page including “The Powderpuff Girls”, “Ben 10″, “Dexter’s Lab”, “Sumurai Jack”, “Johnny Bravo”, “Generator Rex”, and many more.

[Album Review] Dethklok ‘Dethalbum III’

Who honesty would’ve thought that a cartoon on Adult Swim would result in a real band doing real tours and releasing real albums? And yet that’s exactly what happened, resulting in Dethklok’s Dethalbum breaking records as the highest first-week album sales for a death metal act before Dethalbum II broke that record. As silly as that sounds, it’s reassuring for this metal fan to know that people can relate to metal, even if it’s in as ridiculous (read: awesome) a format as Metalocalypse.

Image Comics’ ‘Dear Dracula’ Animated To Air On Cartoon Network October 16th

The Image Comics/Shadowline graphic novel Dear Dracula has been adapted as a one-hour animated feature and is set to air on October 16th, 2012 at 7 PM (ET) as part of Cartoon Network’s “Spooky Specials” Halloween programming.. “Dear Dracula” is a children’s graphic novel written by Joshua Williamson with art from Vicente “Vinny” Navarete is a 48-page, released in 2008.

The “Dear Dracula” graphic novel follows a young boy, Sam, who is obsessed with Dracula. Sam decided to write to the classic vampire instead of Santa for Christmas, telling him he wants to be a real vampire on Halloween this year. As expected, Dracula appears in the flesh to grant Sam’s wildest dreams. More scoop after the break. READ MORE
