Scott Weiland Sued By Stone Temple Pilots Members: Release New Song With Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington
Singer Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver) has been sued by his former bandmates from Stone Temple Pilots for being regularly late for performances during the 20th anniversary tour as well as missing promotional gigs. They also state that Weiland “refused to communicate with other bandmembers in [an] attempt to hijack the tour”.
Weiland was officially fired from STP in February when the remaining members released a statement that simply said, “Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland.”
Since then the band has recorded a new song entitled “Out Of Line” with Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington. A free download of the song can be found here/ It is unclear whether or not Bennington is officially the new lead singer or was just a guest for this track. You can listen to “Out Of Line” below as well as get more information. READ MORE
