Strange Chinese Slasher Nightclub School Hospital Dances To Horror, Uses Jurassic Park Sound Effects?

Starring Chrissie Chau, Van Fan Yi-chen, Deng Jia Jia and Jill Hsu Jie-er comes a super strange Chinese slasher by the name of Nightclub School Hospital.

Chinese Horror Hoping You’ll ‘Run’ To (Or Maybe From) Theater

Opening in China on January 6 is Run, which is said to be “something not seen before in Chinese horror” (I doubt it).

There are no details readily available, but there is a pretty damn sweet trailer that featuring chaos in a movie theater shot incredibly well. It’s sort of a beautiful dance of terror, although I’m not sure what exactly it’s telling us about the movie. Watch it below. READ MORE

Chinese Slasher ‘Harpoon’ Uses Trident As Murder Weapon?

I’m not a huge fan of Chinese gore films, but this new one is a bit promising.

Opening in China this coming December is the slasher Harpoon, directed by Zhou Yaowu. It stars Monica Mok (To Live And Die In Mongkok), Hu Bing (It Had To Be You), Li Lingyu, and Shuangbao Wang.

There are no details available, but it looks like a fish out of water vacation tale about a stalker after a couple on a getaway. It looks like his tool of choice is a trident, which is beyond awesome.
