Deadline announced yesterday, “Parks and Recreation” star Chris Pratt has been cast for the lead in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Pratt will play Peter Quill, son of a human and an alien, who grows up to become a NASA astronaut. Eventually he takes up the mantle of the interplanetary police Star-Lord.
