Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Baroness is a four-piece group that plays a mixture of sludge and melodic metal with traces of prog and a sprinkle of punk. With elements of these genres, you KNOW that I was intrigued to listen to their latest offering. After all, they’ve toured with Metallica, Opeth, Clutch, Mastodon, and many more influential, fantastic artists. Add to this the fact that both Red and Blue are fascinating, incredible albums, and I was all set to sit back and delve into the two-disc set that is Yellow & Green. So, was I satisfied or left wanting? READ MORE

God I love seeing bands put out ridiculous things for sale. I actually find it really funny that Kiss has a coffin, I really do. So it makes me overjoyed when I see more ridiculous objects coming out from bands. I’ll start off this article with rock band Clutch, who have teamed up with New Belgian Brewing to make a 9% ABV dark sour ale. Based on the description on the New Belgian Brewing website (21+ only), this beer sounds DELICIOUS.
Check after the jump for more ridiculous commercialism at work!
Alright my European brethren, you think I don’t care about you. Fact is, I love each and every one of you. Having been to Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and (technically) Great Britain, I love your side of the world! That’s why I feel somewhat guilty for not reporting on your end of things. Well, you should be! Check out the tour dates after the jump!

While we didn’t get an interview with Lemmy (we’re working on it people!), we did get to watch one hell of a show and take some awesome pictures for your viewing pleasure. Check it all out after the jump.
Bloody-Disgusting scored an exclusive interview with Neil Fallon of the rock band Clutch during the Motorhead/Valient Thorr tour. We spoke about the tour, Neil’s view on how music and the music industry have changed during the history of Clutch, and, of course, some horror goodness. Rock band Clutch has confirmed a full North American tour with legendary rock band Motorhead along with a few off headlining shows. All tour dates are after the jump and I’ll tell you with 100% certainty that I will be at the Royal Oak, Michigan show. Anyone wanna join me?
Clutch have done some amazing things musically. For having been around 20 years they just keep on getting better and better with age. “Live At The 9:30″ is a true testament to the music they have created and with that being said I am more than proud to bring you my review of “Live At The 9:30″.
Never Got Caught has announced a two week trek with Clutch this June through the Midwest and the south. This is a continuation of a long standing relationship with Clutch as Never Got Caught’s Bryan Hinkley (vocals, guitar) spent years working with the band including helping to write two songs for the band in the studio and playing on 2007’s full-length From Beale Street To Oblivion. Neil Fallon of Clutch returns the favor by contributing vocals to the song “Slipping Out” on Never Got Caught’s recently released full-length Creepshow (They Want More Records).
New England kings, Never Got Caught is comprised of Hinkley, his brother Bill (drums), Paul Dallaire (bass) and Dave Ward (guitar, vocals). The band play rock influenced by kick out the jams 60’s and 70’s fuzz-tone heroes in addition to some lyrically dark 90′s bands such as Morphine or The Afghan Whigs. Working with vintage gear, Hinkley himself uses a 59 Les Paul Jr, a 72 Les Paul Deluxe and his guitar head is a 69 JTM 45. Sonically of a vintage tone, their songs are melodic and hook-laden but there is a powerful underlying current of heaviness gleaned from past metal cred.
