French electronic duo Daft Punk has announced that they will be releasing their fourth studio album, Random Access Memeories, on May 17th. I so desperately want this documentary on Columbia from BioShock Infinite to be real, because it’s totally something I would watch. I want to learn more about the floating city and its volatile relationship with the United States after it took matters into its own hands with the Boxer Rebellion in 1901. I also want to know more about its leader, Zachary Comstock, and his tyrannical rule over the people of Columbia.
Where too many games take having an interesting story as something to consider tossing in after they’ve made sure the enemy dismemberment looks as gruesome as possible, BioShock has always revolved around its world and the characters that inhabit it. I highly recommend you pop a bag of popcorn and really soak in this two minute tease of what could be, after the jump.

Columbia Pictures and Red Wagon Entertainment’s Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are teaming up for the American remake of Dutch thriller Taped.
Per Variety, “NL Films, the Dutch production company behind ‘Taped’, will exec produce the remake. Company is owned by Endemol and Alain de Levita, who produced the original film. Negotiations were handled by NL producer Sytze van der Laan. “We’re huge fans of ‘Taped’ — and believe that Doug and Lucy have just the right take on the material to adapt it for English-speaking audiences,” said Columbia production prexy Hannah Minghella, who will oversee the project for the studio along with Jonathan Kadin.”
The original film, “follows a young couple vacationing in Buenos Aires who inadvertently tape the murder of an innocent man by a corrupt cop, forcing them to fight for their lives to escape.” READ MORE
