When I look back on this past year in music I took into consideration the albums I was looking forward to, the albums I didn’t see coming, and the songs that got stuck in my head all day. It’d really hard to do a retrospective but after serious consideration I finally got the the list right. Enjoy.

A few weeks ago I got the distinct pleasure of catching up with Andrew (Vocals) and Casey (Guitar) of hardcore group Comeback Kid. The interview took place in Chicago on the rooftop of the venue they were playing at while on tour with Four Year Strong. To say the least I had a great time and we had a few funny drunk moments. Enjoy!

Official Press Release:
Today’s premiere hardcore band, Comeback Kid prepares for the release of their fourth studio album Symptoms + Cures on August 31. Produced by Eric Ratz (Cancer Bats, Billy Talent) and Kenny Luong (Cancer Bats, Billy Talent), Symptoms + Cures features 11 mind-blowing tracks assured to please. Drummer Kyle Profeta states, “Our last album was more of a ‘feeler.’ We were just getting in the mode of Andrew becoming our front man. With Symptoms + Cures, we have really found our sound with him and we are all really excited about it.”

Read past the break for the rest of the press release as well as their video for “Broadcasting…” off their last full length “Broadcasting…”.
